| sooooo.. I went to swim practice today. the water was absolutely
frigid. it makes it really hard to breathe. and some genius decided
that we don't need lane ropes, so we're all trying to swim in one big
wavepool, with virtually no direction as to where we're supposed to be
going.. it was awesome.
ugh theres a meet tonight. more icy water. i feel sick.
oh, and i also have the lovely world history book to be reading by next
year. this is eating my summer. on the bright side, i has quesadillas
for lunch.

| i was just reading some other xangas... i find it really quite sad how
all these people will write long entries about how depressed they are,
and how noone understands them. when i say "sad," i dont mean that i
feel sorry that they arent happy, i just mean that its pretty pathetic.
everyone goes on and on about how much their lives suck. and then
sometimes, if youre lucky, they'll post some lyrics from a song that
they're listening to, which they feel matches the exact emotion they
are feeling at the time. i suppose they do this so that all of the
interested masses who are deeply concerned with the person's current
emotions will read the lyrics to get some insight as to the fact that
the person has more problems than anyone can possibly imagine, and that
they're leading lives filled with angst.
by the way, i picked up a new guess belt last week. just thought you'd want to know.

the one amber and i found on the internet, then talked to (don't worry, i saw a picture.) actually, he's probably the hottest.
in conclusion, it's kind of odd that out of 15 guys:
4 are seniors
3 are juniors
6 are sophomores
2 are freshmen
13 go to parkview
2 dont...
11 have hair that is currently, or has been, some variation of brown
2 blonde
1 red
all but 3 know i exist. haha. this is so lame.
i would analyze more, but its pretty tiring.

| today was boring. i went to language arts and listened to people
complain that graham wasn't there. and then i went to math where there
was this old guy substitute who was telling jokes and he thought he was
funny except they were really sad jokes. like, sad as in pathetic. and
i started laughing, because of the looks on people's faces, and
everybody thought i was laughing because he was so incredably funny.
hm. the highlight of my day was probably in 4th period when lauren gave
me the note regarding john. which wasnt even terribly fun or exciting.
jesse and i came up with a fun little game. its called "name as many
designers as you can." he's actually the only person i know who i can
play it with. here was our list. feel free to add more. oh, and there
will be some misspellings. oh well.
